General comments
-Duur intraveneuze therapie: 2-3 dagen
-Eerste keuze orale switch: Flucloxacilline of Augmentin.
-Eerste keuze bij penicilline-allergie: Clindamycine
-Alleen intraveneus bij ernstige ziekte of immuungecompromitteerde, anders oraal starten!
-Voor optimale absorptie van flucloxacilline moet patiënt nuchter zijn; indien niet mogelijk (bijvoorbeeld bij continue sondevoeding), voorkeur voor augmentin
